We share clergy, our ministry team and resources, and are actively developing our work and mission together whilst celebrating the uniqueness of each community.
St Giles meets every 2nd Sunday at 10.30am for Holy Communion, for services at Peckleton & Kirkby Mallory please keep an eye out at the Upcoming Services or the Benefice Calender.
St James is the local Church of England parish church for Newbold Verdon, in the Diocese of Leicester, and part of the wider benefice (family of churches) including St Giles, Barlestone; All Saints, Kirkby Mallory & St Mary Magdalene, Peckleton.
For over 800yrs people have worshipped & served the community of Newbold and we seek to be a church that appreciates & incorporates its traditional past in worship, whilst developing & growing to be a church that welcomes, embraces & helps a new generation to feel part of our church family.
The style of worship at St James is a mix of both traditional liturgical, contemporary liturgical & contemporary sung worship with a range of services from traditional Holy Communion through to contemporary morning worship.
